Happy Thanksgiving!
With "Turkey" day behind us, that means that the Christmas season is upon us! I want to let you know about a little project that our class is doing. The class will be collecting old shoes, warm hats and gloves, gently used coats, and old bookbags for the homeless. I will make sure these items are delivered to my church who will make sure they are given to people who are in need. Students may bring these items to school to me or they may be lefted on my front porch. Please check back to find out more about our annual ornament making afternoon. I will be setting the date and posting a list of materals needed. All parents and grandparents who would like to help are welcome. It is so much fun!

Remember to be careful tonight! Will send a Smilebox out later tonight!

Pumpkin carving and the Fairy Tale Ball
A big thank you goes out to all the parents, grandparents and godparents who came out today to help us carve our pumpkins. It was so much fun and the jack o lanterns turned out fantastic! Smilebox has just been sent out so everyone can see the great job you did. Battlefield parents and families are the best in the state!
Do not forget that tomorrow is the Fariy Tale Ball. Students can come dressed as their favorite Fairy Tale charactor. We will all go to the cafeterria at 1:30 to hear a story told by Snow White....rumor has it that she will even bring along her 7 little buddies!
